With my experience, depending on the products or goods you are selling or advertising, It might be good to see people face to face. Other products just require a little information about them and people will show interest. However knowing that you are expecting a baby, it might be tiring to call cold, although it’s doable for a couple of hours a day, remember to stay in safe neighbourhoods.

Direct mail has a very small rate of return. A couple of suggestions
1.Go ahead and get a list of prospects to cold call.
    2. Become a expert on your company.
3 .Role plays are a effective method of learning.
You need to jump in with both feet. The right sales job is not a quick, get rich occupation. You need to become a competent adviser to your customer. Cold calling is not easy, but you have to find something in your company which will benefit your end user.

    Good luck with your baby
