I exchanged Christmas cards this past year with folks on a small, close-knit chat forum I belong to.
One of the members lives in Scotland. All of the cards mailed from the US using the 0.98 cent stamp, reached her within a week to 10 days.
I mailed mine from South Dakota, right before we had a horrible blizzard. They also had bad snow in Scotland at about the same time. Despite the bad weather, despite the holiday “mail rush”….we were all quite suprised at how quickly the mail reached her overseas. I think my card took 7 days to make it.
