    Right Click the photo -> text wrapping -> “behind text”

    Then you should be able to freely move it about and resize it.

    For the white space, click the crop button on the picture toolbar and adjust the white off the edges.

    On your MS Word, go to

    View >>> Toolbars >>> Picture

    Find the logo that looks like a dog wrapped in stripes. It’s called “Text Wrapping”
    Choose your picture, and click the “text Wrapping” and choose “Behind the Text”

    Or if your outline of MS qord similar to Office 2007, you have to put the “Picture” toolbar in your workspace, and then find that “Dog in Stripes”, and do the instruction above.

    Oh almost forgot, if you can find “Format picture” when you right click the picture, the “Text Wrapping” also there…
