Is it possible to track down a person if the only known information is a bank account/cell phone number?

A contractor asked me to put money into his account so he could purchase tile for a job he was doing for me. After placing a large amount of money in his account, the contractor no longer answers his phone, has not purchased the material, nor has he shown up to do the job. I need help trying to locate him. The address on his business card is also incorrect.

    omfg the same thing happened to my family. you should go to the police and they can help you track that theif down. we did that he was caught and is being sued. YES you can track them down with they’re cell phone number. they can go into his account and find a valid home address.
