Try taking a picture with movement in it. If there is any colored lighting you can play around with that. e.g The DJ standing still busy at the DJ box with movement in the lights.T

Put the camera with a very wide angle lens on it, onto the platter and do various shots from the records point of view. Let it spin with the timer on in long exposure flash mode and do a whole pile of shots till you get a cool one that happens to include your subject. Do some with the DJs hand reaching down to the platter towards the camera lens. String the camera overhead, have your subjects lay on the floor and spin the camera again using long exposure flash mode. I think you want photos with a lot of blur, action and movement, using your flash to freeze enough of the image to make it make sense. All this is assuming that it’s that kinda dj…you know the ones with the turntable that have to do with spinning stuff.

First of all, make sure she is dresses provacative (not a dress and not slutty), you and her judge where the line is drawn with that. Secondly the other suggestions are good. I was thinking also, that if you had a fisheye lense, you could get up high and shoot down on her with all of her records around her and her dj table.

I’m thinking you need a great location. Are you able to get your dj to set up their decks anywhere? If so, I’d find a pedestrian bridge over a busy highway. Bring something for you to be able to stand on. Once the dj is set up, get yourself into position so that you are slightly higher and able to capture the traffic in the background. I’d shoot to blur the background…HOT!
