start/finish date of a credit card?

my dads got an american gold business card. he wants to know what the start and end date of his card is? (he cant seem to find the security code because hes had his card for a long time)

The start date was pretty much when he got the card and had it activated. The expiration, or finish date, is whatever is on the card. Even though, his card will continually renew automatically and he will receive a new card/exp. date until he closes his account. The security code should be on the back of the card somewhere near the signature strip.
