    Yes its legal to leave fliers and cards at a house, on the door/fence. I am fairly certain you “can not” put them in the mailbox least by law. Although each state might handle this differently.

    There is no federal law against it but a state law or a county law or a municipal law – maybe there is such. So be careful about it.
