Sephora’s beauty manager called me and asked for an interview on Monday for that same day. The interview went well, and at the end she told me that they were going to make a decision by friday (today) and orientation was Monday, and gave me her business card.
Should I call today and ask about the job? if so, at what time should I call 2, 3, 6? not at all?

Call at 3 and just say you wanted to check on the status of your application.
personally, I’d call and asap otherwise she might not think you are a go getter or interested
I wouldn’t call. If they chose you, they will definetly call you by the end of today. If they don’t call you then I would contact them on Monday or sometime next week and ask if you could have some feedback on your interview. Also ask them if they keep your application on file for the next opening or what you need to do to continue to desire employment with them.
If you have her email you could send a little paragraph about thanking her for the interview and that you are anxiously waiting to hear regarding their decision on the position. Keep it short.
Call about mid-afternoon if you don’t hear from them. I hate when people pull that unprofessional crap…..say they will call, but blue-ball you instead. Idiots.
