if u get to the part of the printer where the color cartridge is ull find a steel rod which helps the cartridges to slide…take very small amount of oil to a cotton and try aplying it to tht rod….
    hmmm…howzzztht

Are there any electronic eyes on the printer? If there are, check to see if any paper is covering the eye. It may think there is a jam, when there really isn’t.

    Hi,
Seems like the “step motor” which is suppose to drag/pull the paper from the Tray is drunk. Reason for this can be someone trying to pull the jammed paper and the step motor did not register the steps and or the roller gears stepped back few teeth. And so it is sending false signal to every other parts of the printer that the paper has gone through/jammed.

It’s a normal case in Ink Printers. Sending it to repair shop might help.

I can suggest you to try re-setting the teeth of the roller to it’s original position.. but that can take hours and even days.

When the printer tried to print it sends a signal to pull in paper. IF the paper has not reached 1st sensor in a preset time it flags a jam, and it DOES have a jam . . . the paper jammed before entering print system.

Is the card within the paper weight settings the printer can handle ?
