HAS ANYONE HAD TROUBLE GETTING FUNDS OFF PREPAID TAXACT ENDEAVOR CARD?

TAXACT is a software program and website that offers efile services. I used them to file my taxes and they offered a prepaid debit card to receive refund on. I received my refund on the taxact endeavor card and used it one time. a block was then placed on my account. I called the number listed on back of card only to find out they are not the bank and have no information about bank and it’s procedures!!! I was given another phone number and told it was to the fraud dept. I called the number during business hours several times a day for several days before I was able to reach a live person. I left several messages and they were not returned. I was told I needed to prove identity. I faxed in a copy of identification, and social security card. the hold was still not taken off. I called back and again it took days for me to get ahold of someone. When I did reach someone I was told now I need to provide copy of tax return and W-2 and recent bills. I was extremely upset now because I am not applying for loan and shouldn’t have to provide anything more than my identification and maybe social security card. I filed my taxes through a company that I assumed was the same entity as the website TAXACT who offers the prepaid card. I was told they have no affiliation. They need those documents before hold will be released!! I was so angry and when advising the representative that the information they are requesting is highly unusual. I shouldn’t have to provide a copy of my financial statements. I am not applying for a loan. this is my tax return already issued to me not Bancorp. bank!!! I really needed my money so I went ahead and provided the requested documents and the hold still has not been removed. This has been a total nightmare and I would like to know if anyone has had similar problems? After researching company, I found out they do not have any branches. They only exist on-line. They just received their accreditation from Better Business Bureau in 2007 and only been in business since 2002. I reviewed their financial reports and it was not impressive. It is my believe this company is illegally using taxpayers and consumers money for profit and making it appear as though their is possible fraud issue. It’s been nearly three weeks this company has had my money tied up. BEWARE OF TAXACT ENDEAVOR CARD!!! THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!
