Are you talking about printing for your own personal use or are you going to sell printing? If you are talking about a large quantity of paper you don’t want to get it online. The shipping will eat your lunch. You want to contact a paper company such as Mac paper, they sell to printing companies large and small. For small quantities you pay more but you can get some papers at sams club and office depot.
Instead of a home type printer epson etc. you want to use a copier type of printer such as a konica minolta, savin or ricoh, or a xerox. You can lease instead of buy and your supplies and maintenance can be worked into the cost of the lease. That is the way to go because when your machine breaks down it gets fixed no additional charge. When it becomes obsolete or the model has an upgrade you can get it at no additional charge. The toner cartridges are larger and go a long way and depending on your lease would be at no additional charge. Contact dealers in your area for the models that I mentioned and let them give you proposals.
The best way to produce professional looking printed material is with a print shop.
When running business cards, brochures, postcards, etc…, from “office printers” you end up with printing that definitely looks like it was done at home.
UV (ultra violet) coating – is something that is done on high end equipment and once the paper is coated, you wouldn’t be able to print anything on it because of the coating.
Save yourself the time ~ create your business cards, envelopes, stationery, postcards, etc.. on-line and have your material printed on “commercial printing equipment”. Here is a link that may help:
